All is set for the Rogers Nforgwei People’s award Ceremony

Members of the selecting committee of councilors for the Rogers Nforgwei People’s award ended their session Friday 2nd Match 2018 in Nkambe.
The selection of the most effective councilors, groups of councilors of the mandate (2013-2018) from the various councils in Donga Mantung started, last Monday 20th February 2018, with the verification of the various councilors, civil society, community leaders and others nominations and supporting documents submitted. After the verification, some councilors were eliminated at the various levels, from incomplete forms, to non-existence of project on the field or project not executed by the councilor. The verification and confirmation which started on the 19th of February continued till Friday 2nd Match when the committee concluded their findings and job by selecting and categorizing in other of merits the various councilors in the Council area.
The councilors and groups of councilors were evaluated on the contribution to their community, either through volunteering, charity fundraising, committing an act of bravery, an outstanding achievement, or by helping to put their community on the map in a positive way.
The selecting committee, chaired by the President Mr. Korgor John Kwa, appreciated members for the hard work since the first preparatory meeting and other meetings. He said the committee members are so efficient that more responsibility can be place at their disposals. He appreciated Rogers Nforgwei for the initiative and involving very objective community leaders at the base, thereby given the award the credibility it deserve.
On his part, the representative of Rogers Nforgwei, Marcel Abanda appreciated the members on behalf of the Rogers. He said the sponsor of the Award is very impressed so far with the committee members and the effective work. He also lauded the Media for their effective communication of the award program and praised the SDO Donga Mantung, the President of the Award committed for the continued support and directives toward the success of the program. Marcel commends the efforts of some council secretary-generals and Mayor’s private secretary  and other for the assistance to the success so far. He equally thanked all councilors who submitted their forms on time and expressed gladness with some Fons, Civil society members, villages Development Presidents and others who were so collaborative in given information about councilor projects and programs in their various villages and council area. He reminded members the award program is solely sponsored by Rogers Nforgwei  
The 2018 edition of the people's award is motivated by the fact that elected officials have come to full mandate either in parliament or in the council and it’s a good moment to recognize and encourage deserving people called to the service of our community in that capacity.

The vision of the Rogers Nforgwei people’s award is to transform the Donga-Mantung socio-economic and political ecosystem through people-centered and unselfish development, with the Mission To cultivate and encourage the scarce culture of caring about and loving the people in our community and providing sustainable community development in varied ways – infrastructural facilities, human capital development and social amenities for decent living.
The winners will be notify in the days ahead and invited for the award ceremony on a date to be announced.

Mayor of Ndu Council Questioned??????

What account for the insignificant allocation of the National Cake budget to the Ndu Council area?????????? SDO Donga Mantung responded and advice the Mayors to have Bank of Projects and used the various Divisional Delegates at their disposal, the DD MINEPAT added that Ndu did not send projects to the National Budget for sponsorship. The Delegate further explained that, the Member of Parliament for Nwa through the various competent Sectorial Ministries in Donga Mantung Proposed Projects worth over CFAF 6billion CFAF. Most of the Projects being road network which MINEPAT Ministry forwarded some of the projects to the Ministry of Public Works.  Some of the road projects are being sponsor under the Frontier Kid Packages. NKaTCCUL approved 0ver 1.6 billion budget for 2018 By ABANDA Marcel The Annual General Assembly of the Nkambe town Cooperative credit union took place Saturday 3 rd February 2018, at the Nkambe community Hall. The 49 th AGM brought members of the credit union, the Administration of Nkambe, CAMCCUL Technical services and others. According to the presentation of the President of NkaTCCUL, Talishi Oliver Yinyu, membership as of 31 st December 2017 stood at 3768, with 256 being new members who joined the movement in 2017 with 2472 males, 936 females and 360 groups. Total shares for 2017 stood at 99.387.000F as opposed to 94.423.000f for 2016, given an increase of 4.964.000F, which represents 5.6% in relative terms. The total savings for the year, the President said stood at 1.04.868.000 as against 1.057.763.000F. He continued that the total income was 109.806.000F as against 122.563.000F for 2016. The 2018 Mount Cameroon Race The 2018 Mount Cameroon Race of Hope that took place at the Molyko Omisport Stadium in Fako Division South West Region of Cameroon saw the domination of athletes from the North West Region of Cameroon despite the ongoing Anglophone Solution in the Region. 52nd Youth day Launched in Nkambe

Despite serious Ghost town observed by some businesses  It was at the Nkambe grandstand, Monday 5th February where the 1st Assistant Senior Divisional Officer Donga Mantung Launched the Youth Day Activities. From sporting activities for Nursery, Primary, Secondary, Professional and out of school youths,  and to sociocultural activities for Primary schools in Nkambe, it was a resounding success.
