The Musicians of Donga Mantung under association of Donga Mantung Musicians that was elected last  April 17th,2017 in Nkambe met last Sunday May 27 in the Ndu council hall, during an Empowerment forum with aim for members to familiarize with their colleagues,know the functions of the Ministry of Arts and Culture in supporting and promoting their work of arts and also to arm themselves towards the celebration of the World Music Day on June 21. 
At the Ndu council Hall, the Musicians were empowered by  powerful presentation by Pastor Joseph from the CBTS Ndu. They equally presented their Musics and great positive and constructive criticism from a jury headed by the Technical Adviser of the association, Abanda Marcel. The Jury had old Musicians, Journalists and music Lovers among others. The young Musicians were given advice on the various aspects of their Music, Presentations, stage Props, Lyrics, Branding, identification, digital marketing of today and the issue of COPY work. They were also advice to be very patience and do a finished product which will be accepted and computing in the World. 
Technical Team 
In his presentation, the Student Pastor in CBTS Ndu told the artists musicians that God listen to their music and they should considered if God is Please with what he/she is singing. He made is clearly that how was not asking the Musicians to all be doing gospel music, but to also listen to their music and be contented with the product. The musicians were also advice to consider their Audience and the impart the song will have on them. 
The Technical Adviser Marcel Abanda, collaborating the Pastor remind the musicians that, Music gives their souls to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything. Listen to your music if it is appeasing to your soul and to God, "What is the Message in the Music"?

It was very motivating at the Ndu council Hall during the Empowerment forum and communioning with the very inspired Musicians in Donga Mantung, under the canopy of the Association of Donga Mantung Musicians in the Present of the Divisional Delegate of Arts and Culture Donga Mantung Madam Caroline Ngelo Fomboso, who Presided at the forum.

In his Speech, the President jin said One of their greatest challenge has been the lack of identification as a musicians,  he said it was a great embarrassment for him  in Bamenda when he could not have an identification card to sure who he was, pleading with the Delegate that they be given identification cards, insinuating that with all this things will be easy for the Musicians and for them to do their job. He continued that, Music is a great tool to communicate messages to the people, but what matters is what type of message musicians communicate, critically he said "we can see that when someone dies in the North West Region it is usually communicated through songs", even when there is a war, songs will be sung, as well as when a child is born, promotion ,uplightments, all this is communicated or celebration through songs. It really matter a lot the type of music your sing, music can be constructive as well and destructive, praying that all the musicians will sing songs that will build our society instead of destroying our society. He called on them to work together in love and unity within this music industry, with God helping them, the President said will grow from one area to another.

After their elections, the association took part in the labour celebration in Nkambe and series of Meeting
The Ndu was also used to plan for the World Music day to be celebrated in Donga Mantung for the first on June 21, 2018. series of Preparatory meetings has been plan ahead in other to have a successful celebration 
The baby association has as president Pastor Jim Shadrach Chifu, with other executive members from the various Subdivisions of Donga Mantung.

Mayor of Ndu Council Questioned??????

What account for the insignificant allocation of the National Cake budget to the Ndu Council area?????????? SDO Donga Mantung responded and advice the Mayors to have Bank of Projects and used the various Divisional Delegates at their disposal, the DD MINEPAT added that Ndu did not send projects to the National Budget for sponsorship. The Delegate further explained that, the Member of Parliament for Nwa through the various competent Sectorial Ministries in Donga Mantung Proposed Projects worth over CFAF 6billion CFAF. Most of the Projects being road network which MINEPAT Ministry forwarded some of the projects to the Ministry of Public Works.  Some of the road projects are being sponsor under the Frontier Kid Packages. NKaTCCUL approved 0ver 1.6 billion budget for 2018 By ABANDA Marcel The Annual General Assembly of the Nkambe town Cooperative credit union took place Saturday 3 rd February 2018, at the Nkambe community Hall. The 49 th AGM brought members of the credit union, the Administration of Nkambe, CAMCCUL Technical services and others. According to the presentation of the President of NkaTCCUL, Talishi Oliver Yinyu, membership as of 31 st December 2017 stood at 3768, with 256 being new members who joined the movement in 2017 with 2472 males, 936 females and 360 groups. Total shares for 2017 stood at 99.387.000F as opposed to 94.423.000f for 2016, given an increase of 4.964.000F, which represents 5.6% in relative terms. The total savings for the year, the President said stood at 1.04.868.000 as against 1.057.763.000F. He continued that the total income was 109.806.000F as against 122.563.000F for 2016. The 2018 Mount Cameroon Race The 2018 Mount Cameroon Race of Hope that took place at the Molyko Omisport Stadium in Fako Division South West Region of Cameroon saw the domination of athletes from the North West Region of Cameroon despite the ongoing Anglophone Solution in the Region. This year Race of Hope took place under heavy security. 52nd Youth day Launched in Nkambe

Despite serious Ghost town observed by some businesses  It was at the Nkambe grandstand, Monday 5th February where the 1st Assistant Senior Divisional Officer Donga Mantung Launched the Youth Day Activities. From sporting activities for Nursery, Primary, Secondary, Professional and out of school youths,  and to sociocultural activities for Primary schools in Nkambe, it was a resounding success.
